11x15 Aloe with Flowers

So many varieties of aloe grow in the desert and this flowering species is inspired by the blue elf aloe. I love the long stem of blossoms that sway from their own weight.

I hand carved linoleum block of this aloe and rolled oil based ink onto it then pressed it into cotton paper to create this original artwork.
