I am a wife, mother and a fourth generation artist. My Great Grandmother was a ceramicist, my Grandmother a painter and my Dad is a jeweler. Being an artist is in my blood and I love sharing with my children my love for art.
I have a Fine Art Degree from Arizona State University where I learned printmaking techniques. I worked as a photographer for 6 years after completing my degree though. It was when I was on bed rest with my first baby in 2016 that I brought out my carving tools and started creating again. It took me a while to figure out my style and what I really wanted to carve.
I try to push myself with every new carving I start and think of ways to create something that is unique. I love experimenting with new techniques and being an artist makes me so happy. When I am creating art I feel like I am living up to my potential. I am so grateful to share what I create with others.
